We traveled to Istria by car and stayed in Porec at the Urban Premium Apartments (you can find it here, on booking.com). We had a 2 rooms apartment with balcony. Free parking spot in front of the building. Here is the review that I’ve wrote after our stay:

Great place to stay in Porec. Really nice, modern apartment. Quite spacious and very very clean. Big balcony to sit and relax after a long day visiting. Modern kitchen equipped with all the things that you might need. Goran, the host, is amazing, always smiling and helpful. The old city center is real close, a 10 min walk. You also have a supermarket just around the corner and a nice place to have morning coffee. We used the apartment for a 2 weeks training period so the location was great for us: 10 min walk to the the beach for swimming, 10 min walk to a stadium with running track. Also, you can run or bike in Porec on a 10km long paved path along the seaside, with no cars in sight. Cycling in all Istria is fantastic. One of the best places we’ve stayed in Croatia so far!

A very important thing for us at the time was how well the internet connection performed. We had to work “from home” for several days. 2 persons connected on the same time, with Zoom video conferences and uploads/downloads, all worked without any issues.

Off course this is only my recommendation. Otherwise Porec is filled with hotels, apartments and bed & breakfasts There are even a lot of excellent camping options (we had some friends that stayed in Zelena Laguna Camping )
